The Mission of the Golden State K9 Association  is to honor and defend the health, wellness, and dignity of California K9’s who faithful protect and serve the Golden State.

This Mission is accomplished through visionary leadership and a commitment of all members, partners, and supporters working collaboratively to provide for the care, comfort, protection and overall wellbeing of California’s active service and retired K9s.

Provide financial assistance to bridge the gaps of local agency funding to ensure K9 and active K9 Officers have access to proper protective safety equipment, and state-of-the-art augmented training to foster, improve and extend quality of life. With respect and responsibility, embrace a collaborative attitude and establish lasting partnerships within the law enforcement community and the general public who hold to the values and belief that K9 are public safety officers, who faithfully serve and protect our communities and deserve honor and respect for their contribution.

Create meaningful engagement opportunities to educate, communicate and foster participation of stakeholders, partners, and the public in pursuit of providing advocacy and an awareness of the important role and services of K9 and the needed resources for their proper care and wellness.

Ensure all members, partners, and supporters of the Golden State K9 Association adopt the core values of the Association and serve with integrity.
